Hygiene supplies may have helped one takeaway owner to prove his establishment was is not in breach of regulations.
The North Wales Weekly News reports how health and safety investigators visited Casablanca eatery in Penmaenmawr following a complaint about its food hygiene standards.
However, an inspection by officials found the takeaway to be observing the local authority's rules.
"During a recent inspection there were no signs of pest infestation at the premises, which has a good level of compliance with food safety legislation," head of regulatory services Phil Rafferty stated.
The establishment has been cleared of any alleged wrongdoing but is now being investigated by police after it was vandalised.
Its front window was smashed on Thursday (August 18th) and anyone with information about the incident has been asked to contact Crimestoppers.
Elsewhere, Sharon Mills recently told Media Wales that she is in support of the Welsh government's proposed legislation that will make it compulsory for eateries to display their hygiene rating.
